I don't know what to do, but there is an app you should get. It's called 'undercover'. It's for if your iPhone is stolen.

No my iphone isn't stolen...

By dead zone I mean that the second row on the iPhone (Look at iTouch, see the 2nd row of icons...that row) its dead as in not sensitive...if you put your finger on it, it doesn't respond.

Oh... Usually "dead zone" means no reception.

You interpreted that the wrong way.

is it clean, the iphones touch screen detects heat so anything stopping that from getting through could be causing your dead zone, if that isn't the problem go get it repaired... should still be under warrenty

Yes I read about it. It has to do with it losing the connection with the other screen cells due to a cut in the heat that combined them. Suggested heatign the screen at 160 degrees F as it should re-connect the screen...but he later said it won't work all the time.

It is under warraty. But I no longer have AT&T service...when I called they said it need so have phone service so they could give me a new one.

Put your old sim card in?

And I looked it up on the Apple site. Undercover is just in case it is stolen.

although undercover does sound useful i think the problem ahmed is having is he cant use about a quarter of his screen, that has got to make getting apps hard.

i dont know what AT&T is :S

Yes Steve is correct. A whole row of the screen is untouchable...

AT&T is an American cellular phone service provider.

It's more than a cell-phone company. And it's all around the world. It also provides service for landlines.
