Should the USA split up?

It splits into parts and other countries take the parts?

WHy shoudl it remain as one?

P.S.: I got this debate from a Russian writer who wrote that America will split up soon as the following.

Eatern America will get owned by the Chinese.
Southern America will get owned by the Mexicans.
Northern America will get owned by Canada.
Eatern America will just be an independent contry and will be part of the West and join the European Union.

Would likely be a good thing if we were run by the Chinese.

I forgot his name...he is a Russian. Its not a matter of winning wars Pried. As we know from the past the South wanted to split. Also not that far go, California wanted to be a sepearte country.

I would say no, but in the event of a major disaster happening in the U.S., then we have cannot have a say in this matter.

Well, it's a terrible idea. If we did happen to, I would hope that Canada takes over us. They are a responsible country. They are also very peaceful.

But at the same time, Canada is weak militarily.

Well it would make sense since the US does not have one main race. All other countries do.

Canada may not have a good military, but don't we? If Canada has control of the US, it will also have the military of the US

Well to invade the US it would have to have a stronger military. ALso the US's militray atm is weka from Afghnaistan and Iraq.

...Well, the US. does seem split nature-wise, but it shouldn't. US is like, rich and all (Especially from the taxes ) so I don't think it will.

Not really EC. The US's debets equals that of all the countries's debts combined.

I know that the US has nucleaur equipped submarined in the Indian ocean and Pacific...according to my history teacher, if anyone thinks of destoying the US the US will be destroyed (nuke bomb for example) and the nuclear subs would shoot their nukes.

And can someone give me the basic overview of the inner workings of socalism vrs communism and why it does or doesnt work.

Socialism is basically a mix of Communism and Capatalism.

Communism the idealogy that there is no money. The working calss "owns" and everyones equal.

well, what I meant in the beginning is that if the US gets taken over, it gets taken over by Canada. They are a responsible country. They can run their government well. The EU does well too, but I don't like the idea of being ruled from overseas

The EU is kind of a follower of America...except the UK...that's it in own road.

the answer: I do not think so. This nation, though ranges from one tip of the continent to another, is too united to fall, at least right now. these states are more than just a bunch of states, the ties within are almost inseparable.
