Today when I came from school I did a system restore to the date of 1/17/09. The reason for this is that there was a problem with the audio of the laptop after this system update that happened to the laptop...
So after I did the system restore, for some reason the screen went black...and all I could see was the cursor
I got worried, beacsue I would have litterally...it wouldn't have been nice that's all I'll say...it was $1,300, and I got iot about a year ago.
So I kept my calm and I called Sony, I explained them the problem and she said that since the laptop's warranty of 1 year is over, inorder for me to get technical assistance over the phone it would cost $30! And it might or might not work...
However, at the end of the phone call when I told her to give me any help at all, she told me to go to this sony support site, and I could speak with a techniain.
I went, and I spoke with a technician...by typing, like on Yahoo. He obvioulsy answered very slowly (I guess to make you get the help by $30 on phone), after doing many things that didn't work he told me at the end to refresh the C Drive.
This deletes EVBERYTHING...just like the day you got the computer...
Since thta was my only option I did so...
And now my computer is fine again, and better than before because
-Audio is fixed
-Windows Movie Maker is fixed
And these were the bad things:
-My game files got deleted...but idc
