Very Dry Skin Empty Very Dry Skin

Post by Ahmed Thu Jan 15, 2009 2:59 am

This time I am not complaining (I know what to do Smile ), but just wondering if anyone else has this...

Did your hands get very dry over this winter?

My two hands (from the corners) dried so much, that they started bleeding.....

I guess this has to do with me and washign my hands with warm-hot water??

Me too. My skin are very dry too. Here is what I do. Don't wash your hand or shower with water that it too hot. (use warm water) . Apply lotion every time you wash your hand. ("Vaseline" brand is the best b/c I try other brand of lotion, they are very sticky and does not work very well). For the corner that start to bleeding, lotion will not help much. Use the "chapstick" and apply the chapstick on the are where it bleeding. I will instantly help healing those bleeding area. Try that and let me know if it work for you since it really work for me.

    Good Luck thumbs up

Use a skin moisturizer? Preferably a hand moisturizer? I always have this problem during this time of the year ..

I don't have that problem . I live in South Florida where its usually 75-60 degrees during the winter. I suggest any kind of lotion also, liquid soap is ftw, it stop mosquito bites from itching and it stops your hands from peeling.
