Oh comon! What's the evidence. Sure believing that the militiants coming from Pakistan...there is a possibility that it is true and false...

But the cash coming from England... I never heard of it, even on the American news, till I saw that article...

Your not one of those people who genuinely believe that there is a conspiracy in the West and in the media to make Islam look bad? ¬_¬ even going so far as to blame ALL terrorism on them are you?

I mean I have nothing against Islam in the slightest but you have to admit that these wackos who like to blow things up like to do it in Allah's name a little too much for comfort. To be angry at the Western media for trying to report on fact (though sometimes biased they have to report truth by law) rather than at these (please can I swear this time) complete pricks who keep using lost souls to do their bidding and blaming it on Islam seems silly tbh

^^^I sincerley believe that. Nope, I never blamed anyone. All I said, that terrorism has no religion. However, the wetern media seems to have succeded in mkaing terrosim the synonym of Islam.

Yes, such peopel do NOT understand Islam. Islam tells you to not harm or kill innocent people, animals trees. And to ONLY fight in self defense (if someone attacks first) and when that happens you soley kill the soldiers. The western media shoudl try to wisen up and stop being biased. I have no rpobelm with sayign the news, but I do ahve a probelm with saying baised news.

You cant deny that the western media is biased and has double standards.

I believe that the Western media is against Christianity ¬_¬ so if we are going to get in this argument... I mean the BBC shows things that insult Jesus from start to finish every now and then but would never dare say anything against Mohammed. Also lets look at the last months in terrorist attacks shall we? I can understand your argument that they are not REAL Muslims... but it is not the Western media's fault that they claim they are. When Christian based cults take over buildings, kill people etc the Western media say that they are a Christian based cult... the problem is that the groups that do this kind of stuff in Islam seem to be ALOT more mainstream.

Can you honestly say that ALL these things are just the media trying to make Islam look bad rather than extremists within a religion? Let us also not forget that there are whole communities that behind, hang and stone people who wish women's rights and gays in various countries that say they are Muslim.

I disagree about the western media making Christainity look bad. You example is valid, however, please note that Jesus (AS) is also in the Islamic faith.

Okay. Those are all valid points that actually I agree on... these are people who have been killed (in most cases wrongly) and they should be brought to justice for it... but don't you think the fact I had to extend my list over 3 posts and it was only on things that happened last month that there might be a problem with terrorism rather than a problem with the Western media? Furthermore these were not done by extremist Christian groups. These were done by governments, and do you think these are hidden from the media? Hell no! Those facts are out there just like everything else.

Also that point about Jesus being a saint in Islam... don't get me started on how that point bares no real argument.

The fact of the matter is that these people claim to do it in the name of Islam and the media have a right to say that. If you want to start restricting what the media say then you are removing free speech tbh

My belief is that if the media ACCURATELY reported it... it would actually be worse than what is being portrayed at the moment.

I would like to end by me stressing once again that I actually have nothing at all against the belief system of Islam. I do have something against those people that use it as a front to get power (mostly extremists) and I just dont think its productive ignoring the problem and just believing that the Western media is making the whole thing up ¬_¬

All my points were basiclly major, as in US intervening in differnt countries across the world, your were just events. I could make a similar list, writing daily "US, British, French etc. soldier kills -- in Iraq, Afghanistan" , that'll be quite a long list, espicially since a million die. But notice hwo I would say American or Birtish and not Christian ... Well the governements are Christain (in most of the west) so they shoudl then also be labeled Christain...etc.

It does bear an argument, but we Muslims see that the Christains also see Jesus(AS) as holy, if in a different way, and therefore that's up to the Christains if they want to make fun of their religions.

No I want the media to be factual and not biased. If the media wants to say "Muslim extremist/terorists" then it shoudl also say "Christain extremsist and terorists"

Eventhough the words Muslim and terrorist are oxymorons...but thats another story.

Really?! Well I am for the media reporting the WHOLE true. You'll find many surprising things.

Once again, my problem witht he western media is the double standards and the biasness. I enver denied that there are people that kill innocent people in the name of Islam. Islam is pure from them though.

But my point is that you cant force the media to not report on things they see as fact... if a man walks into a building with a bomb shouting that he is going to kill everyone there in the name of Allah and then blows the place up in my eyes it is fair to call him an Islamic extremist... I would expect the same if it was a Christian doing it.

I can see how you think there is a bias but soldiers are doing it on behalf of their country. It is their job to kill, they are accountable to the government who in turn is accountable to the people that vote that government in. (In democratic countries anyway) They are not Christian terrorists however you might like to paint them simply because they publicly declare that their aim is to allow people to practice whatever religion they please in peace.

Also if your going to talk about assassinations remember that Mohammed himself ordered the assassination of Abu Afak, Asma bint Marwan and Ka'b al-Ashraf in 624AD

The government is known as the head of any nation/kingdom, correct? Therefore if the governemnt decalres war, would it be fait to call the whole country a terrorist country?

There are reasons, this was a fair war, the Arab pagans of "Quraish" led many wars agaisnt the Prophet and his followers (Muslims). Therefore it is only fair that they get killed, he however left everyone else, soldiers and supporters of Quraish alone, because as I said Islam says to only kill those that kill you.

In the American exmaples, America assasinated such presidents or leaders because they went the American favor. This is also known as greedniness.

ANswer this Sam, will removing the word "Islamic" from "Islamic terrorist", will it not send you the same message.

I mean, heck, the OIC already condemmened terrorism. The OIC is the Oraganization of Islamic Confrence, the largest Muslim organization and it has a seat at the UN. So what is the media's point, other than spreading hatred?

Musulini was not a Christian. And yes I was taught in History that Hitler was a Christian and in Politics that Bush was certainly a Christian because he got pretty much all his support from the evangelical community o.O

I also am aware because of studying the news at the time (and actually some in my lifetime) that the terrorist groups in Northern Island were made up of rival Catholic and Protestant groups. I didn't complain then because although I know they were not REALLY Christians they were always claiming they were. Not the medias fault.

If someone raped in the name of God or was dealing drugs shouting "THIS IS FOR THE BUDDHA" at the top of his voice then yes... It would be crazy not to mention it.
