The impact of the election Empty The impact of the election

Post by Hassan Wed Nov 05, 2008 4:21 am

As I am sure you all know by now, Senator Barrack Hussein Obama is the President-elect of USA.

    "Change has come".

First of all, what do you guys think the impact of the election be on USA and the rest of the world? I mean, history has been made tonight.

I am praying that this new administration will actually solve issues, even though I am a little skeptic of Mr Obama's policies (namely Pakistan and taxation among others).

Just one more thing, do you think it was the time that enabled Obama to achieve this success or it was the person himself, who did it solely by himself. I mean that do you think Obama won because of this particular time period in global history, or because of his sole effort.

I personally think that the time (Bush, anti-war sentiments, bad economy etc) boasted Obama and greatly helped him win this election.

    Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!
    Obama won over Bush's shadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All those that say he is the anti-Christ and whatever nonsense, are either racist to blacks or are racist because his dad was a Muslim.

Why do you think he is the anti-Christ? I thought about it but I see no explanation.

yeah by not banning abortions he gives Americans the right to choose, how would you like being restricted to 1 or 2 children? surely that's much worse.

obama is posobly the bigest mistake america has made or the best one ever, but in truth he won because of the black vote, no ofence to anyone but it's true. I personaly do not like obama and there is a 50% chance he will die before the end of his 4 years,i am sure there will be more than one atempt on his life i mean realy look at all the rednecks who hate blacks in the kkk

Obama won by over 7.5 million votes (none electoral) so no it wasnt the black vote he wasnt voted for being black we voted him becuase we think he will make a good president, and a good % of those votes were younger people between the ages of 18-29 so its not becuase he is black

in china the government stops families from having more than one child, but apparently obama is worse because he is the anti-Christ for some reason you've failed to state.

bush also got votes from the bible belt where obama wasn't popular there, there's where I'm guessing this hateful rumour is coming from.

Well, we Muslims, also believ in the anti-Christ. The differerence is that we believe that he will come from the dead sea, that is next to Palestine and Jordan. Also we differ in what he will do.

Look, for all of those that say he got voted becasue of the blacks...look at the statistcs, many whites voted for him too.

If Obama had the same policy of Bush/McCain I am sure he would have lost.
We had too much bush (8 years man)-would you want 4 more years of bush (McCain)?!

Dreamz so are you saying that God told the retard bush to wage war in Afghanistan and Iraq?! You are telling me that God told the devil bush to go kill inncoent people in Iraq and Afghanistan?!

Stop with this racism. ANYONE who voted for him because of the colour of his skin was racist. Anyone who voted him because it would make him the first black president was committing an act of racism.

I agree with you sam, but unfortunately, people do not understand that. For example, more than half of the students at my school were shouting "Obama" and had no clue what his believes are, and what his policies are going to be.
