Well aince Hassan and Pried kept telling me that Model UN was so fun and good, I checked it out today...

It was quite weird. You need to be very specific in everything (e.g.: Discuss financial crisis for for 30 seconds) and you speak for a minnute and a half (?)

Also all year you go to the club to practice for the big UN disscussion at the end of the year -__-?

So I don't see the greatness that it was said to be...

P.S.: Hassan which countries did your school represent in 9th and 10th grade?

well alot of the fun is also in the fund raising, it's a like or dont like thing

First, to answer your question, I have done, so far, Madagascar, U.K, as well as Ministry of Magic (Harry Potter) and Meiji Cabinet. (The last two, of course, being created, non existing UN committees, but extremely fun for the creativity part!). Our first conference this year, which I am coaching for but not personally attending is Pakistan at University of Virginia.

Now, I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the meeting. I need to know more to comment, like, which country, which committee, which topic, your position, and your interest...
