Ok, Steve, I think this deserves for us to go back to the origins of life. Eventhough it is a slighlty different deabte, IMO its impprtant to debating about the evoltuion properly.

Simple, because God (Allah) is the creator...atoms are the creation.

This is my favourite subject in the world or close to it.

My favourite is evolution vs. creation.

Evolution (as I understand it) is the theory that over a coruse of some billion years different animals have evolved from single celled organisms. Over the years it is believed that the creatures faced the survival of the fittest, and if you wanted to survive in a changing world you had to evolve to withstand your enviroment, this is why apes apparently gained the opsable thumbs stood up straight and waked off into the human race.

But if this is so thn why since the theory was publshed have we seen no evolution n the world, animals have become extinct without eolving to save them selves in an ever changing world, not one man has wittnessed a change in an animal that would be it evolving to survive, many have tried, some using lions and tigers to produce the liger to show that one animal may become another, but this was flawed as the "new" speicies didn't work out as their children/young turned out to be lion or tiger. Still up to ths date no man has produce a human from a ape at any stage of the evoutionary chain, nor a dog into a wolf, so why is this did the evolutionary chain end the minitue the theory was published??

I so love this subject, I won't put anything in here about evo/creation but if you'd like I have plenty of material!

I go for creationism then, because the Bible says so and it is supported by scientists. Yes, evolution is too, but the theory is starting to die away becuae we don't see it as much anymore.

Most (Western, that is) scientist believe in evolution than creationism....
