Idk lol calms me down.

Many other things could calm you down . I am not saying that I don't listen to anything.

I listen to Qur'an recitation. It calms me down and gives me peace of mind.

music, like television, is a distraction. Its harder to think while your listening to music, and i value thinking highly.

It really depends, i'm a moody person (not grumpy, just have varied moods) It i'm happy then linkin Park, but i like Lost Prophets, Foo Fighters, little but of Red hot Chillies, and the occasional bit of everything

Myt favourite is Avril Lavigne but I like Green day, Linkin park, Evanescence, Fall out boy...

believe it or not, music helps me tune out the outside world and focus on what I am working. the beats put me on task, and I do not listen to lyrics, just drums/bass/guitar. :tongue1: I also think better if the lights are out, so that is why my room is usually dark. I can focus better.

^^^How will you study in the dark?

I have ambient light from the outside. so i have just enough. I don't use my florescent lights unless i have to. I have a bunch of specially dimmed lights that allow for just enough, but it is pretty much dark.
