Re: Basketball > All sports
Also, why the hell are the shorts they wear in soccer so high up? lol, you guys don't evne have knee-length shorts haha
Anyway, you haven't even attmpted to prove that soccer is a better sport or even on the same level as basketball, so I guess that means that there aren't any reasons at all why soccer is even a good sport in its own right ...

Re: Basketball > All sports
Funny that you mentioned the shorts when if you look at your avatar the basketball player with yellow shorts is shorter than his knees
Ill prove it now: Soccer is better Period!

maybe because his knees are bent and because of his stance?
seriously though, you haven't provided a single reason as to why soccer is even a good sport! Soccer is better period? Prove it! There are even religious reasons why basketball should be preferred over soccer; basketball uniforms cover your awrah but soccer uniforms expose it!
So basketball requires more skill and a greater skillset to play than soccer, more intelligence (or use of intelligence) and use of physical attributes, its more well rounded since players play both offense and defense without regard to position on the court and soccer dosen't and basketball is a game that requires more creativity than soccer . On the professional level, basketball players are bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic than soccer players and more creative since they can score/make plays in so many different ways ... and that'll do it for now ..

LOL!!
Sayf, you watch European soccer thats why. Actually watch Arab/Muslim soccer
and
ROFL!
Basketball out of all sports is not supported by religion. You see every basketball player looking like a bully with a large tatto on his arm!

There's no fundemental difference between "Euro soccer" and "Arab/Muslim soccer" because its still soccer and the game is the same ...
So you're saying that the sport of basketball encourages its athletes to get tattoos and look like a "bully"? LOL, I'm pretty sure thats a personal choice on the part of the players to get tattoos (I know its haraam but you don't see the Muslim ball players do it anyway) and that point about looking like a bully is just dumb, infact your whole post is irrelevant to the topic ... sorry bro

Re: Basketball > All sports
The game is the same but the dress code (wearing longer shorts) has to do with the player himself
I don't know...each time I see them on TV they look like they own the world...all that for playing a ball game

OK so I guess you're right about that
I'm sure none of them are more arrogant and narcissistic as C. Ronaldo and soccer players are the ones going crazy after making just one goal, some do backflips and stuff and run around with their arms out screaming like they just cured AIDS or somethin and I'm not saying that there's something wrong with expressing emotion (like you are) but your point failed again. Besides, you can recieve a technical foul for taunting and such in basketball ...

OK I will admit that scoring a goal takes skill, but its mostly a team effort, and that one goal usually seals the deal in soccer. Whoever scores first wins when there can be tons of lead changes and ties in basketball ... and its not like anyone can score in soccer, it depends on your position so you'll know who's more likely to score so it doesn't take that much skill either ... the game is too position orientated and has little room for versatility ... any player on the floor in basketball can score and players are more versitile and can play multiple positions

Well thats because the basketball stadium is reallyt small so there would be no point in asigning positions. Also thats not true, I watched a soccer match where on the first half a team was winning by 1-0. And in the second half it lost by 2-1

Its not as small as you think and there is a point in assigning positions its just that some players can play 2 or even 3 positions for certain reasons. My point was that basketball allows room for versatility and soccer doesn't ... and common, you know that most of the time whoever scores first usually wins, atleast 50% of the time or even more ...
