I was thinking about getting it for the PSP (since my PS2 is busted and I don't have any of the new consoles) ... I might just play it later on today just for the heck of it .... but EA sports aren't what they used to be like, they completely killed the NBA Live series and I heard people saying NFL 2k games were better than Madden as well ... before EA bought the exclusive rights to NFL games ...

Re: Ofiicial NFL topic
well all the sports games from year to year are largely the same, I've heard the new madden has adverts in it, as if EA were getting enough money out of recycled ideas and code, im not saying its bad its just not the kind of thing i like to play.

Re: Ofiicial NFL topic
Yeah, my female Chem teacher played it...maybe that's why she looks like a man
Anyway, I have always thought of Football as a "uncivilized" sport...and I hope you don't get me wrong with that word :

I think what amkes them "bigger" is their suit...I mean, at my school I see the school team football palyers as idiots. They just walk straight not noticing anyone in their way and they might bash into you...

Re: Ofiicial NFL topic
I dunno steve, most of these dudes are huge, especially the linemen .... plenty of dudes weigh over 300 pounds, one player that comes to mind is Julius Peppers, he's like 280 pounds of muscle and is as quick as anyone ....

Re: Ofiicial NFL topic
yeah well thats because alot of the strategy in American football involves being able to plough through your enemies and being hard to take down. rugby takes alot more skill because theres things like your only allowed to throw the ball backwards

Re: Ofiicial NFL topic
lol its a finesse game too, ever heard of Barry Sanders? Rugby probably does involve more skill, but I wouldn't know since I barely watch .... both are pretty violent but from what I've heard rugby is really viscious ....
