Google Chrome

Google released 2 days ago its new browser, Google Chrome. It got released for its 10th anniversary and anyone could downlaod it for free. It's in it's beta form right now, which means that it has many bugs.

What do you think of it?

Well, here is the info about it. It's currently one of the fastest
browsers, it has an "incognito" mode which is sometimes called "porn"
mode. Its tabs are separate processes so the entire browser doesn't
stop if one tab does.

Also, according to the terms, they can claim anything you put on the
web through their browser as theirs and your copyright wouldn't matter

Actually Mozilla is proven faster...

Also that is just non-sense that they can claim anythign they want , its enough that they do that with their images.

Mozilla is actually slower than Chrome. Still, I hate Chrome

Well it took over a second to load this forum... on my firefox it took milliseconds...

I prefer using Firefox, but Ill try using Google Chrome if I feel like it.

i dont want to use anything made by google, they put adverts in all sorts of things because thats how they make their millions

I agree with you steve, google is not the safest bet. Also chrome is more vulnerable than IE 6

Well it is in beta form right now...they'll iron out all the bugs and it should be at least better than IE...

It is, just the security isn't

Don't you go being an actually person. Chrome is faster due to the way that it renders pages. The reason it took so long is because your Firefox has already cached this site. Chrome hasn't yet.

Correction: It got realeased on it's 10th anniversary, not for. It it was for, then Google Chrome would never be updated.

Google Chrome is a very light, small internet browser. It uses up so little memory it's the only browser I can use while having Photoshop open. Of course it has a few holes, it's still in beta! Firefox had waaaaaaaaay more holes in it during it's beta.

Will you deny that it has major security no-nos? This Korean man foudn this glitch that coudl allow hackers to hack into your computer and have full control of it!

Oh my gosh! Oh wait a sec, you can do that to all browsers.

I'm not denying it has security problems, but IE, Opera, Safari and FF have serious problems too that Chrome doesn't have.

Actually they all advertise via google...aslo no man, saying that the other browsers have problems liek CHrome is really unfair...I mean, even Google itself knwons that it has major problems and that's why they called it "Beta"...

No it's not. You're being a hypocrite, saying Chrome has all these problems and no other browser does.

I didn't say I couldn't run flash. I said I could run it with Photoshop. I can do everything with FF, just it has memory leaks and it's impossibly to run with Photoshop. I have 1GB of RAM.

And I don't have something on my computer that slows it down.

Yeah i'll go with firefox on this lol i've been using it almost all the time and i like a bunch of the add-ons it has to go with it.

I can't go to jail yet, I'm not 18 unless I like murder someone, but I don't think i even can lol. Anyways, the msot I would have would be like a week in juvies

That could also be called inaccurate because IE7 and IE8 are just photocopies with bugs.

Thank you thats my point...since Chrome is a beta it is bound to have mnay bugs and glitches!

when software first gets released it has (on average) one mistake in every 400 lines of code, seeing as google chrome is still in testing it has a similar ratio. unlike the other browsers because the longer they're out the more bugs they fix
