well i think we are all understating the religion a bit because we are to accustom to it in every day life, for me to become a christian i had to go threw a variate of task from baptism to confirmation. I spent many years in a Sunday school learning the important points of the religion such as how to properly fulfill my roll in society. on Sundays after confirmation it is a choice whether or not you go but not before that you must go. when it comes down to receiving the flesh and blood of the lord it is totally metaphorical and in no way does the religion support cannibalism. Now that we have a short sum of of daily religious life i can go into details like, how is Jesus god? the answer is actually quite simple for god being a divine entity himself he chose the Virgin Mary and impregnated hew with his son, that is also a part of himself. So in a way God took on the form of humanity to guide his flock and then died to protect it.
