Well on the 18 of this month, I woke up at 5 AM (as I had to get there by 7:30 AM). I took the train to the hospital with my parents. When I got there I had to register, which I did. Then this man told em to follow, and gave me a hospital bag in which he brought me to a room and he told me to take off everything I was wearing and too wear these 2 robes that he gave me and socks. After I did that a nurse came and took some blood from me, and another lady took my "history" (medical).
30 minutes later
A man told em tot lay on this bed, I layed on it then he puched the bed to the elevator and we went upstairsto this room, thats when I started seeing doctors. Still with my parents, I waited on the bed. Later came some nurses and doctors that introduced themselves, then finally this guy came and said that he is my anastsia doctor. He gave me this shot of something then he left and came 15 minutes later with a nurse. I said bye to my parents and then they pushed me off to the surgery room.
BTW I had asked the nurses that came to me, "how long will the actaul operation take?" They replied "About 2 hours"...
In the surgery room
They gave me a shot. Then in 30 seconds, I was asleep as in blank...
6-7 hours later
I wake up and find my parents around me and they tell me welcome back etc. Then after 10 minutes they leave (it was late)
After an hour and a half they push me to a recovery room.
-Painful moment-
When they were trying to push me from the bed that I was on, to the bed in the recovery room they pushed/pulled me over and that was an OUCH. I sleep moments after.
----------------
I wake up in the morning and I see my nurse ahe helps me get off the bed slowly and to just sit on it. They got me breakfast and I hardly ate. My parenst came 2-3 hours later, and then they served lunch. My mom helped me eat, but I still didn't eat much. Then I slept for a while. The I woek up by the time that dinner had come. My mom helped me eat once again a bit but then they had to leave
I just sat there in my bed, whiel the nurse came a couple of times giving me shoots for the I.V. (I think), anti-blood clot shoots and just blood samples.
Also that night I could sleep at all, I slept about 4 hours.
---------------
Next day, same thing happened except that Hassan came to visit (Thanks for the flowers Hassan )
But at night a doctors a assitant said he was going to pull out the chest tube from my lungs. This tube sucked the blood that got lost during the operation from inside me.
He pulled it ( : ) and sometone took an x ray later on, then they told me the sad truth. When they pulled the tube, somehow the lund defalted and sunk down a little nad in a matter of hours it would collapse.
-Painfull Moment-
They had to cut on my side and plug another tube inside to mu lungs -that was really pianful in the back)
----------------
Next 2 days were the same
Except that they pulled out the tube again and thank God (Alhamadilla), it was good when they took the x ray!
----------------
Day 5 was the same
----------------
Next day, I left home with me not being able to move freely that is.
Ill explain better later, as I am get dizzy right now.
Bye yal!
