    Harry Potter Empty Harry Potter

Post by Ahmed Sun Jun 29, 2008 2:31 pm

Well this thread is to discuss everything Harry Potter! Smile

I have a question for those that read the last book, the seveth one:

How in the world did Nevile get the sword from the hat if the goblin took it from Harry Potter at half the book?

No, the goblin took it and he disappeared from the story. That is the only continuity error that I found in the story (and series)

Yes I saw them on the news. They say it teaches witchcraft and might start a "Harry Potter" religion Rofl or so...

This is not an error Ahmed. According to old magical rules, the (Gryffindor's )hat is suppose to help a true Gryffindor. It has the power to bring the Sword to the person in need (another relic of Gryffindor). This is why Harry got the sword in the second book and Neville in the seventh.

    And I own 1, 2. 4 and 6.

And by the way, what do you mean by posh?

No...Harry had already taken the sword in the 2nd book. There is alos one sword.

I own those books as well.

By posh, I meant more political like, you know, political people are always so haughty and important...I hope you understand what I mean.

Harry got the sword through the hat in the second book, right Ahmed?

And I think that the late Mr. Crouch Sr. is more posh because it is said that he even sacrificed his son to maintain his status and position.

Yes, then the goblin took it from Harry in the 7th book. Then "magicallly" Neville got it out of the hat.

You know...before seeing the picture of Mr.Crouch I imagined him a well built, stern, agressive looking sort of man, wearing a brown tuxedo with black shining shoes.

But in the movies an old looking man acxted his role...

Hassan do you agree with Mr.Crouch's poiint of views?

No, I do not agree with his ideology. I do not think that one should act in such aggresive and brutal ways, as in even deny a trial to presumed death eaters (namely Sirius) to enforce law.
