My internet...going from sh!t to Legendary

My current Verizon internet download speed is 1 MGBS. I'm switching to RCN and getting 50 MBPS.

LOL! And it's not even 1 whole MB. It's 0.96 MBPS to be exact: http://www.speedtest.net/

I actually find FIOS to be faster than the current crap Optimum Online service my landlord is using...

What's it speed?

Don't know, but I know it's faster than Optimum Online because it didn't take half a day to download video game updates, demos and videos for my PS3 before the switch.

Edit: After using speedtest.net, I got these results:





As you can see, very inconsistent at times.

Mines is 41.8 MBPS if Im connected directly and 18 MBPS if Im using a router.

I don't get the option to connect directly, I can only use the router.
