It took them 3 years to realize this was in the game, and instead of actually banning hackers and fixing exploits, they fix this immediately instead?

Re: Really?
^ More proof of religious intolerance... religion has so many retarded points, that's why I'm atheist too. I do good things because I'm a good person, not because some stupid book tells me too.

You just defined religion. How does a dumb video game spread hatred? Please explain.

Re: Really?
The hatred content in that fan made map is what spreads hate. You don't need to put hate on that map to play it, so why put it?

Re: Really?
1. That map isn't fan made. It was made by Infinity Ward itself.Hotshot wrote:The hatred content in that fan made map is what spreads hate. You don't need to put hate on that map to play it, so why put it?
2. The frames were put all around the map. It's not exclusive to the bathroom
3. The frames are nothing but decoration. They are not involved in any game modes.
4. The quote is not offensive. Besides, as the video states, some families like to include religious symbols in their houses, including the bathrooms.
Overall, the removal of the map was BS. No one should have even noticed this small tidbit when they are playing the game. Most likely it was just a random decoration taken from another map and added to this one, since Favela actually takes place in Brazil and not the Middle East (Though there may be Muslims in that country as well, but at a lower rate). And since when does freedom of religion take priority over freedom of speech? That just means that freedom of speech is a lie.

Re: Really?
In Islam you can't put any religious text in the bathroom, as the bathroom is considered a s filthy place.

Re: Really?
My faith is in atheism for two reasons: because most religion is oppressive in at least one way, and because I think that if there were gods, they would not allow the world to commit the atrocities that it does daily.
So I ask you, why? What is it that makes you put complete faith in it? Is it because your parents do?

1. Atheism is a LACK of faith.
2. Be specific. Islam doesn't oppress.
3. Alright, but then there wouldn't be free will. So what do you want...a perfect world or free will, you can't have both?
4. Because I studied it and I got convinced that it's the truth. If I was simply following my parents then I would've converted out or became an atheist when I leave my parents' house. Right?

Re: Really?
1. I'm faithful to the ideology of a lack of faith.
2. All religion oppresses its followers with a million rules that say, 'don't do this or you'll be damned to hell' or something similar.
3. I want neither a perfect world or completely free will, because both are terrible. I'm talking about major things. If God were real, in my opinion, he would've struck down Hitler before he could rise to power, and probably the same with Bush lol. It's all about moderation.
4. Some people are sheep that don't think for themselves, so not necessarily. But I'd say the majority of people who follow a religion do so because their parents did so, not because they're sheep, but it's because it's what they were exposed to first.

Re: Really?
2-How is it oppression if I choose to follow these rules? Oppression is rules against the will.
3-Nope. An orderly world wouldn't be possible if God intervened after everything. God used to punish people in ancient times. But he has allowed everyone to sin or do good and all will be judged soon.

Why'd you have to quote the full quote. You could've cut it at
God
Really though, needless to say a large part of any religion is faith. No doubt about that. The beauty of Islam though is that you see indirect proofs for the Qur'an being the word of God based on the text.

I don't think you interpreted what I said correctly. If God were real, in my opinion, he would prove his existence at least once a generation. I said both total order and total free will is bad.
all will be judged soon.

Re: Really?
That's what God used to do. But we Muslims believe that God completed his message, that go from Adam to Muhammad (SAW) in the Qur'an. So there is no more proving that needs to be done.Ace wrote:

And the religion where the most people convert to annually is Islam, without God showing himself.

How would I feel? I wouldn't feel because you can't disprove faith. It would make me think though. So what exactly do you have in mind?
