brutii campaign

so i got tired of fighting the endless hordes of barbarians and i decided to play a brutii campaign and so far its been cake

ive REALLY done a number on the greek cities and reduced them down to just the city of Larissa (these idiots sallied forth in siege battles getting murked by my more mobile forces, even their precious spartans were destroyed )... I have 3 wonder captured (the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, Zeus and the Colossus) and Pontus just declared war on me after I invaded Asia minor ... I also just betrayed the Macedonians by besieging Athens ... I had an alliance with them against the Greek cities ... After I wipe out all the Greek factions I'm going after Egypt

thrace betrayed me ... oh well, just more greeks to annihilate ... seleucids were also destroyed ... im guessing by Egypt who is, as usual, steam rolling throughout the middle east

took another wonder ... Brutii campaign >> Julii campaign ...

The worst is the faction that starts on Sicily.

yeah they get brutalized by carthage elephants

in fact in all of my campaigns, they've never even attempted to screw with carthage like they're supposed to LOL

when the civial war happens I'm gonna have problems with Julii ... they're expanding far too much and are becoming very powerful ...

wow I lost 2 settlements ... one because of me not setting the stupid time battle thing on in a siege battle where there was 1 turn before my settlement surrendered so I sallied forth and lost and another because freakin Thrace actually took my city in a siege

and i got owned Mongol style in my most important largest battle ... against freaking Thrace! WTF! Owned by a barbarian faction?!?? I understand losing to a civilized faction like Pontus or Parthia but I got freakin creamed with my best army full of gladiators and stuff .... stupid terrain adavantage ... I was right beneath the stupid hill and they were right on it so I thought maybe I could rush them and take the hill spot but no ... I got owned by their missile fire and everyone routed ... they were siting right on the hill ... I can't believe I made the biggest noob mistake in history ...

finally eliminated Thrace and still at war with Pontus ... I basically made the Byzantine Empire at the beginning of M2TW lol ... Scipii is being gay because I took Syracus and I guess they wanted it so they're creating problems ...

Bad news though ... Pontus is an ally of freaking Egypt who has conquered the whole middle east and is pushing its way unto Parthia ... Britannia also exploded and pwned the Germans ... Gaul is a vassal of Spain and the Julii are expanding ... I allied with Scythia to take on Dacia ... also Carthage took almost all of Africa ...

Germany is eliminated and so is Numidia ... meaning Britain and Carthage have emerged as global "superpowers" ... Carthage owns all of N Africa ...

BTW I just noticed that Pontus is an ally of Egypt ... meaning that I'm eventually going to go to war with them ... hopefully after eliminating Pontus or making them into a client kingdom I can not go to war with Egypt and take this opportunity to start the civil war ... Marian reforms have already happened and I got my eye on some Scipii territory and of course, Rome

I think a war with Egypt would be more difficult than the Civil war ... I can overrun Scipii rather easily I mean but Julii will be a problem ... Rome itself I'm not sure yet. ...

i started attacking Dacia too ... they're the same as Gauls almost ... and the Marian reforms happened too ..

Dacia eliminated and I decided to start the civil war by taking all of Sicily from Scipii ... so they started sending stacks at me ...

Eliminated Scipii and took Rome ...

My conquest of Rome ... they had a weak garrison after they attacked my besieging armies on the open field and lost ... they put up a good fight but only because the AI commanding the other army was like ...retarded lol ... but they had reinforcements coming from the outside ... a small army however that never even made it inside the gates in time as I already took the town center and the 3 minute time elapsed ...
