Religious schools...........................................:(

Since St. Johns is a religious based University...

I am required to take a theology AND philosophy class each semester

First semester of freshman year must be Christianity...then I choose other religions (Islam for sure...then any idc)

BUT the good news is this is only for the first 2 years...thank God.

They also have this class called "Discover New York". Everyone telling me how its a free grade...you just learn about NY and go on trips. HECK YEAH!

Not as bad as sitting through an hour of church... (my mom makes me go TWICE a week!) poor me

Guys the only thing is that Ill have to take religion classes for 2 years......not that horrible. it's good to know about all religions so you can exploit them.

Religious classes are all jokes.

They're craptarded imo...religion is for churches etc, not school...

At least it's not required by law for everyone to study religion, and I thought that if a religious school makes it mandatory to take a class related to it, they can't be given funding by the government?

Considering that it's a private University...I don't think they get Gov. funding lol.
