the riddle sits in the spoiler below but before you read it id like to just outline the rules.
no using one of those search engines, these riddles may or may not be on the internet already so please resist the temptation. I will ban you from my games if i think you have been cheating.
PM questions and guesses to me and i'l keep track of how many things you ask before you get the answer.

- Samedi owns a valuable diamond that he keeps in a wooden box in his tent. The box has a sliding wooden lid. Inside the box is a snake so deadly it will kill a man instantly. Someone broke into Samedi's tent one morning and within moments he had stolen the diamond. The man did not touch the snake in any way, nor did he wear any protection on his hands. After the man had left, the box was intact and the snake was unharmed. How did the thief remove the diamond from the box without any special tools or help?
