=============================17 years. I have waited for this day for 17 years. I had achieved a near perfect score on my ACT, taken all honors throughout my entire life, went through hell with 9 AP courses. I have spent countless hours out of my own free time to help others who are less fortunate than me. I spent countless Christmas wishing to Santa for an acceptance letter my senior year. I even own a young, fledgling company with 11 employees, and multiple other business ventures. Any mentally sane person would be able to notice my passion towards my career path, and yet, I have been rejected from the only school that I am even interesting in attending.
Thus, after some critical thinking and discussion, myself and my other friends who have been rejected as well, have decided to go down this path.
Luckily, I have found the Colt .45 that my father had back when he served overseas.
Thank you to all the community members of collegeconfidential who shared those anxious days of countdown, and congratulations to everybody who got in.
I wish you the best in your next 4 years, and I am sure each and every one of you will become outstanding members of society. I just wish I'll be alive to see it.
Forever Yours,
Jack.
Apparently he applied to the hardest NYU school-Stern (business). I'm applying to CAS (college of Arts and Sciences).
I tried to calm him down by telling him that I got rejected by Columbia etc. But he seems certain.
I could see flame doing this 4 years from now. I hope these posts have an impact on flame.
