Post by Ahmed Sat Oct 30, 2010 10:48 pm

This is all 1 SAT exam. Each SAT exam has 9 sections (3 M, 3 R, 3 W) and 1 essay. I'm not doing the essay. They all make up your SAT grade. So I can't decide yet. Any mistake is certainly bad though.

Also study if you want...but it's a bit pointless freshman year. BUT you could only gain form studying...not lose.

Theres a PSAT during sophomore year. Study more during that year and you will have extra practice for the real SATs.

I finished my first test. According to Kaplan's conversion (rough estimate) sheet, I got a:

    Reading: 600 (Went down)
    Math: 650 (Went down)
    Writing: 630 (Went up)

Columbia takes the highest from every section so that's good. But it still wouldn't pass the 2000 mark.

    Taking another test.

    Done!

I calculated my score...surprsingly its almsot the same...its the same for reading and math...600 and 650...but I went up by 20 points in writing (650)

On the real SAT...math was my strongest and writing was my weakest...

I guess I'm just too tired today...will do another one tomorrow if I have time.

I think that the Kaplan conversion table is harsher than the one that CB uses...it would also make sense that it would be harsher since by doing so they would make one feel that they greatly improved...would this mean that I might possibly get a math and writing score that's in 700s? That would epic!
