Advice needed please!!

Ok here is the problem:

For years I have wanted an ipod touch. Today my dad finally got one! Yay of course . But my sister wants it too and is dying for it...so to seem fair my dad offered me a choice.

I could take the itouch but then the internet on my phone will be cancelled (we cancelled my sistser's a month ago) and we would put unlimited text messaging for my sister.

Or I could have internet on my phone and my sis gets the itouch...

How much does it cost so I could have internet while I'm outside my house on the itouch?

And what do you think. Please help!

i think you should tell your dad the ultimatum is unfair, your sister does not need the item nor would she want it if you did not want it.

She said she always wanted it too...just choose please.

ATT charges 15 dollars for 250 MB of internet, 25 dollars for 2 GB, Verizon and all other carriers usually offer 30 dollars for unlimited internet on a smartphone. Unlimited texting is 20 bucks. An iTouch is around 200 dollars, more or less. Which is to say, it won't pay for itself.

I said iTouch...not iPhone. So why are you telling me of phone service providers? I looked it up and the iTouch only works on Wifi...so it's free.

So what should I choose?

Did your father say whop was he getting the iphone for in the first place?

If I were you, I would keep the phone. With internet and unlimited text messaging, it already has everything you need. The iTouch is bigger (probably) and wouldn't have internet, correct?

Yes the itouch is a bit bigger...but isn't that a good thing?

Also it will have internet whenevr there is a wifi connection or wifi hotspot, such as home, starbucks, mcdonalds, some cafes etc.

iTouch sucks, I wanted one so bad that I would kill for it, but when I got to use a couple of my friends', I found out it sucks... So I would keep my phone internet, also I'm sure your phone can play music on it.

The thing is I used to own an iPhone before and I loved it...but it broke. And the iTouch is like the iPhone without the phone so...

Glory stick with the phone and use youtube...

Umm...I don't even use youtube on my phone. The only internet thing I do on my phone is use this forum lol
