Re: Fang's Question
Red is for humans, but if you mix red with blue you get purple.

Re: Fang's Question
They wouldn't change color. If you choke a smurf, you would restrain the oxygen from turning the blood red, which creates the blue color that humans turn. Since smurfs are already blue from god knows what, it would either not change at all or turn into a darker shade of blue.

Re: Fang's Question
Who thinks up questions like these
The smurf wouldn't change color, like Flame said. Anything with blood, no matter what the color, will turn blue if the oxygeon supply is taken away.

Re: Fang's Question
Blood is blue until it reacts with air or something. That's why if you can see the veins in your arm or whatever, the veins are blue.

Re: Fang's Question
It isn't. When the blood doesn't have oxygen it turns into such a dark red that it looks blue.

Re: Fang's Question
Hemoglobin that contains ox is called oxyhaemoglobin and turns a bright red, but once it lets out the ox it picks up carbon and becomes carboxyhaemoglobin and a dark red/purple color.

Re: Fang's Question
No. It's never blue. It turns really dark red but it looks blue to us. And no, when blood is revealed to oxygen it turns red, which is what you see when you accidentally cut yours, but when you don't have any oxygen, your blood turns that dark red (blue) color.

Re: Fang's Question
Dark red is never blue for the simple fact that they are both primary colors. Dark red at most will look dark brown/ black.
