    Physics Q Empty Physics Q

Post by Ahmed Sun May 30, 2010 1:02 pm

Beth, a construction worker, attempts to pull
a stake out of the ground by pulling on a rope
that is attached to the stake. The rope makes
an angle of 51.1◦ with the horizontal.
If Beth exerts a force of 118.1 N on the
rope, what is the magnitude of the upward
component of the force acting on the stake?
    Answer in units of N.

Actually, wavelength times frequency is supposed to equal the speed of light, but I don't see how that has anything to do with this
