How about we change it a bit? A noble member, at 1000+ posts, will have a title that says Knight. And, the more posts, the higher in your rank you are

briliant idea i dont think there are enouth ranks yet tho most people have more than 500 points so far and thats not really a good # of points for ranks to start on, we should have a couple at a small # of points like 20, 60, 130, then every 100 or something or every 60 up to 400 and every 100 upwards of there thats why i think we should have lots of ranks.

0-Normal title
50-a bit higher
120-A little bit highe
240-Eh, your getting good
480-Almost there
960-2 more ranks
1920-1 more rank to go
I don't wanna do the math for the last one.

3840 maybe if they reach that the admin can give them a special, Personal rank.

Well, sorry for making it complicated, Ahmed. But I wanted to know where we are heading. I am oppose to the idea. Simply because, strickly speaking, it is anti-Islam to divide men in such ranks from which they appear to be lesser in value than others. "All men are created equal".

I would personally support a parlimentary system where each of us is given a "term" in the office of the head, whatever you call it (President, Prime Miinister, Chancellor, etc). Even though it sounds less exciting, it would be a superb way to learn about the way today's world goes, but in a make belief way. We might even be able to understands the reasons behind a constitution and seperation of powers and the cabinet if we do this!

hassan i kinda agree with you it would be fun to see different people run the forum every once in a while but wont it get a little too complicated

well you wouldnt switch ranks but i guess turn him into a co admin if you can for the week and you pretend to have a member rank or even make a new account for the week that stays member that way if hes doing anything bad then say alright switch back and demote him to member again

it only takes a few hours to destroy a form

Anyway no really its houldnt be removed becasue then what would become of the banned members?

you ban them with the admin pannel and they cant come back.. well its as easy to come back if you've been banned in the admin pannel as it is if your in the ban group.

Ahh... that wouldnt work out though. The member will still be there-unless I delete it.

yeah, you could delete the member, but then you wouldnt have anyone to put in the banned user group.

Well, It might be complicated but it would be fun. The more I think of a parlimentary system, the more I think we can do it! I think that we can work out the details together (in other words, our constitution). Some suggestions:

Instead of having one (supreme) ruler, have a panel of two or three (if you doubt that one person can handle it)
Create some rules which restricts the power of the President.
A congress consisting of everyone else, (unless someone wants to be "public").
No real worries about a budget!
Two thirds majority for a "bill" to pass!
No veto powers of the President!

i dont think its going to happen/work dispite all the complaining how it is right now is actully better than it was before
