Re: Death
last time i thought about death was in psychology, death of a loved one is worth the most (100) in the SRRS (Social Readjustment Rating Scale) the scale itself is interesting, it shows that life changes increase the chance you have of getting ill.

Re: Death
I disagree. Life changes don't increase illness...I believe it is life experiences.

Re: Death
the SRRS is flawed but i think you are more likely to recover from an experience than a change, for example encountering a mugger would be less traumatic than having your wallet stolen.

Re: Death
Not really...I mean the mugger could harm you...who would then care about a wallet when your life could be at risk?

Re: Death
that would be a life change, not just an experience. basically because it would last more than a day.

Re: Death
ahmed think about it this way, with the mugger you get closure. Everything fits together and you see the big picture, you understand However in the event that you lose your wallet you just dont know what has and or may happen.

Re: Death
when you lose your wallet you get a reminder of your failings every time you want to pay for something for a while, and you have to call the banks and cancel your cards, apply for a replacement driving licence and all that...
