What the hell are teachers thinking?
my teachers are freaking -insert curse- holes, my ss teacher alone gave me a project, and to pages in a review packet to fill out that took over 3 hr! my math teacher gave out a 3 page packet that's due tomorrow filled with geometrical confusing -curse- that we barely went over in class! I also have to read a book that has grammar so horrible that i literally want to chuck the book out of my second story window! How the hell do teachers expect us to handle all this -again curse-! I am under so much stress that a blood vessel ruptured! I made this topic to ask how the hell does anyone deal with all this bull -take a guess-.

Eh, my LA teacher sucks at explaining. She gave us a project, due tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do. Math is usually an hour long for me, since the problems are either complicated or take a long time to graph

Lol, thsi happened today:
I wrote that Fe(ClO4)2 is a solid (not soluble). I wrote this because the textbook didn't mention anywhere that it is.
She marks it wrong.
I ask why?
She says "I said it is soluble during class"
I could swear that she didn't...
I lose 3 points out of 20 on a Chem Quiz.

and i got a 82 on my first calc test ... the review problems were hardly anything like the test ... and the average was like a 68 ... but there's no grading curve anyway ... but now its going to be almost impossible for me to get an A (93+) since this exam was 25% of my grade
but i really can't blame the professor since the department that makes the test ... he actually taught pretty well ...
and don't worry ahmed ... you're doing solubility and solubility rules right now ... wait untill chemical kinetics and chemical equilibrium ... thats the fun stuff lol

Hey, if you ever find a class called voices of the past, you should join. No HW, no tests or quizzes, just worksheets and maybe movies.

gen chem 2 is (so far) easier than gen chem 1 ... but more formulas and memorization ... chem is actually my easiest subject ... calculus is just hard and bio is insane ...

Re: What the hell are teachers thinking?
I know, I'm taking calculus now. I've heard that biology is very difficult too. There are so many thing you need to memorize. However, I've contact several chiropractic school near my home. Their requirement for the science course is not as high as other medical school. I only need to pass the class with a C in other to qualify. So, there is not a big problem.

Re: What the hell are teachers thinking?
I already did. I want to know why do you sometimes have to subtract the moles of a compound from the moles of another in stiochiometry.

Re: What the hell are teachers thinking?
I feel like crying
I did so freaking horrible first marking period in AP Chem
I got a freaking 80 (Really an 82 which got lowered down to a 80)!
I need serious help!
Sayf please tell me the difference between a Bomb Calorimetry and a Constant-Pressure (Coffee-Cup) Calorimetry
Is q(soln) the same as Delta H?
What is enthalpy?
PLEASE ANSWER. I am lost in this area of Chem!!
P.S.: Do I need to memorize the formulas of the 2 calorimetry questions and the Specific heats of the substances?
