My Total War Campaign

Well i got the game yesterday and its quite aweosme (other than the battles running a little slow...)

I choose, int he campaign, to start out with the "Holy Roman Empire" faction for two reasons:

1-There flag looks cool
2-They were ina startegic place, the middl eof EUopre...Spain was to south, England was too North, Denmark was too north, Italy was too suth...Germany (HRE) was in the middle

So far, I lost in a batlle with some German rebellions, I won them later on, and I just made Poland my enemy by attacking it and I lost at the end , I was supposed to only destroy Denmarka nd Milan to win but I got frustarted so I attakced them

w00t! Venice was sieging my city of Viene and wanted it to be a vassal. I refused and later I owned them.



I beat them with them losing only 20 men, they lost 180 (147 killed, and 33 captured).

I offered them to pay a ransom for the captured ones, but thye refused and so I executed them...

I beat Venice again:



I later beat Poland

I lost, or rather gave up, on a swiss rebellion group ...I lost about 500 soldiers in that battle for nothing...and it was the longest, ironic ehh...

wow...so much violence in the world... oh well, good luck. What is the overall mission of this game?

Since I am the Holy Roman Empire, I must elimnate Denmark and Milan, yet I didn't even start on them. I once tried to seige Denmark, yet the pope threatned to "excommunicate" me, I read in the manual that thats very bad, so I lifted the seige...

I'm guessing it's like Sid Meier's Civilization?

Also I waged a seige on the Demark capital and captured it !!

However, Milan waged a seige on one of my cities (forgot its name), and it won ...it was quite obvious that I would lose that batle.

I later versed a Milaneese army, and I won.

I defended my elf agaisnt Poland...and Venice a couple of times.

Im surprised your not Egypt in this game.

Yeah, he is Holy Roman Empire. I am almost sure that the game does not have Egypt...

Of cpurse it has Egypt! Egypt is the single most important Muslim faction in the game.

And don't be surprised JJ, I would have picked Egypt if it is unlocked , I must unlock it first

I completely SLAUGHTERED Milan:



The number in paranthesis are the number of soldiers that are captured from the enemy (prisoners of war).

**I exectuted all the prisoners of war-so they don't fight me again.

I also beat the French who were trying to conquer one of my cities.

However, the french took another of my cities, and the hungrainas (yay, yet another enemy) conquered another city

Is there anything about China in it?

No, the Medieval:Total War (and its extension) just focuses on Europe, North Africa and the Middle East...

However, there very first game, "Shōgun: Total War" and its "Mongol Invasion" extension, focuses on Japan and the Mongols...

But no China

can i play?

Anyhow, I lost my first campaign because of Hungary, Poland, France, Milan, Venice and finally Russia.

They wiped me out

I started a new game, once agian being the Holy Roman Empire, and so far I am doing great , I conquered 2 rebellion settlements. France, Venice, Hunagry and the Byzatine Empire are my allies. And I just have a war with Milan (They started)

Its because the Medieval Total War game focuses on the crusades...China wasn't involved in the crusades as far as I know...

no, I meant the other games you posted.

Oh Shogun, I personally always thought it had to do with China, I just found out 5 minutes ago, that it was actually Japan.

I mean, the Mongols really had to do with China, than Japan...I don't even think they went to Japan.

YES!!! My power in the game is currently, SUPREME , the highest rank of power.

My enemies are Milan (34 turns so far) and Poland.

I have many allies such as France, Portugal, Hungary (after a couple of battles, which I annexed one of thier cities), Byzantine Empire, Venice, Denmark (I must kill it soon though), Russia...

I have the biggest empire (in size) and I guess I am the strongest!

so congratz, I guess you have conquered...

Nope I need to eliminate Denmark and Milan and conquer 20 regions (I think I only have 9-10 regions)

Also now England (The new Super Power) and the Mongols (Scary...) are my enemies...
