    This is my first time redeeming a points card for Xbox live games, but when I Went to redeem it, it says that my postal code or something doesn't match the address and city.

    Do they have to be real addresses, or does it have something to do with something else...

    It has to do with your info you sent them when making your profile, methinks. I'm probably wrong.

    Give a reasonable (fake) zip code...give them a real one that you know...

    its only microsoft, they probably know your zipcode anyway, but the point cards are region protected so that might be the problem it has
