Why does every thread have to turn into a semi-religious debate?

I don't know, it's annoying me too. But which thread are you referring to?

The reason the middle east is the way it is is because of Islam. It's the root of almost every single issue there, both good and bad. Almost every debate here has something to do with the mid east because Ahmed and Sayf don't care about anything else. I tried to make debates about Russia and North Korea before, all the comments more or less said 'I couldn't care less.'

Also I talk about way more things than just the mideast. And the mideast isnt a religion.

No one ever said the mid east was a religion.

I said every issue, good and bad, because people who live in that region let a book control their lives. You of course only focused on the bad.

And? It's their religion. Why is that your problem?

Religion is my problem, because I'm against it as a whole. I'm not trying to start a debate or argument here nor am I saying the mid east should change, I'm just answering Craig's question with my opinion.

I can't just give respect out to people. That makes respect worthless.

You should respect till they show that they don't deserve your respect. But you respect by default.

That's not how I roll man, unless people earn my respect, they get nothing from me.

To me this isn't arguing, this is debating... Arguments have anger involved IMO.

People live different ways.
I treat everyone equally unless they prove themselves a lower being.

But I don't fling respect around, it depends on how I see them at first sight.
