yeah im using a lot more infantry .... and Desert Cavalry is freaking LEGENDARY ... they get around 100 kills every single battle! I'm also using auto resolve a lot more lol

Mamluks are the best Cavalry units.

best early cavalry units ... IMO they should come later and be the best mounted archer unit in the game ... tied with the Mongol heavy archers at least ... makes no sense for mounted units like freaking Vardariotai to have higher stats

Mongols are here and I've noticed some very interesting things

Besides the fact that they are named after real Mongol generals (Jebe, Orda, Subtai) but that "Berkei Khan" is the only one with high piety ... the others have little to no piety but he does ... I'm guessing its because he was the only one amongst them to actually convert to Islam

And the Mongol faction leader and Crown Prince are the only ones without high dread and high command ... it would be cool if the Mongols came in 2 waves instead of 3 each representing the golden horde and the ilkhanate ... then they should fight one another just like IRL ... but they're all Muslim so I guess it wouldn't work unless one of the hordes were pagan ...

Other than that I've reduced France to a single settlement ... England started attacking me so I called Jihad on London .... and the catholics had a successful crusade against Milan who captured Rome ...
