So, what do you think the worst stereotype is? Why?

Personally, I think it's that "All Muslims are terrorists"
People believe that because of 9-11
Just because a couple people were able to contort a few phrases from the Qu'ran doesn't make all Muslims bad
This stereotype is really believed in my school because the only Islamic kid has an anger problem. The ones who believe this stereotype are all idiots. Mostly it's Roman-Catholic extremists that believe this though.

Also, I think that "All black people are criminals" is really unfair
I don't see where this came from.

The verses from the Qura are taken out of context from the Quran.

I agree, Fang...I think that stereotypes are a product of ignorance and stupidity. Once you start to educate people, stereotypes will gradually decrease.

I think stereotypes all follow the same model, so one is same as another, in form, just the particulars are different. What is alarming maybe is, does all thought in fact follow this model? Rational thought, abstaction in general, is stereotype.
