Bejing Olympics
This year is the year China gets to hold the Olympics. So I ask you, which country do you think will get the more gold medals?

Re: Bejing Olympics
Yes, I know that. But do you think the events that happened in "Tibet" will affect it, as the Olympics will take place in city of "Tibet" in China.

Re: Bejing Olympics
No, I do not think, or rather thought, that Tibet is going to seriously affect China, or the Olympic games. Example: it's only been about a week and the event has already disappeared from headlines. They can not really stop China anyway, howver, it is yet to be seen that wether major Human-rights-supportive-countries will attend the Games or not.

Re: Bejing Olympics
They do want independence from China, but I do not think they will be able to truly affect China or the Games.
I do not think that the Olympics will be just abolished, Grimmjow.

Even if this event will affect the Olympics, I wonder where it will be moved?

Re: Bejing Olympics
Nowhere! The olympics are to happen in China. And they will. If a nation does not attend, its their problem. And looking at news today, I do not think any nation would boycott the Olympics.

Re: Bejing Olympics
Yeah, good luck, but I must say that Pakistan's team did some good training this year, I heard. About the most gold medals, fat chance, but good luck anyway.

Re: Bejing Olympics
Example of Oxymoron: "He is the smartest stupid person!"
Denz, Egypt won the AFrican contintal cup 3 times straight
I am pretty sure you heard of the Japn International cup...where the champions from each continent vs. each other. Egypt owned Australia 2-0.
And at the end it got 3rd place out of 6
Australia I think got 5th place...
