Nope. Love is not attraction, but many people mistake it to be so. Love is fundamentally a bond between two people that is so great that you will place their well being over your own. Due to it's nature it is impossible to love simply at sight, but you may develop love later in that relationship.

I said yes, but I admit it's a bit of a troll response. I know the question being asked, and it's not really the question I'm answering.

I think that love is recognizing the individuality of another person and finding joy in it. It is knowing that someone else is truly separate from you and being happy in their very existence -- even when they are doing things you don't like.

It's easy to love people. People, in general, are passionate. They have things they're interested in; things that they pursue with their hearts and minds.

They tend to believe that what they're doing is the right thing. The conglomeration of their experiences leads them to their decisions, but for the most part we do what we think is best (and might justify what we don't think as best in our minds).

People are awesome, and I find it easy to love them as they are upon meeting them.

That said, I think this topic is about romantic love, which is a sort of love that combines specific interest and desire for a person. I think it's possible to have love at first sight and lust at first sight. I don't think you'll have romantic love at first sight -- you can't gain enough impression of a person upon first meeting them.

    That's my long answer :-P
